Jack White Puts Music On X-Rays! [AUDIO]

By: Mick  Feb.8, 2013

Nothing says love like gifting the gift of punk music, Jack White style.  Just in time for Valentine's Day Jack is releasing a new single by Butthole Surfers frontman Gibby Haynes on which he played and produced.  It will serve as the third installment of Third Man Records' "Blue Series."  But that's not all.  Jack is staying true to his eccentricity by releasing a limited number of vinyl copies on old medical x-rays, calling them Flex-Rays.

Fortunately there isn't just one song on the single.  It's comprised of three songs:  the originals tracks "Horse Named George" and "You Don't Have To Be Smart" a cover of hardcore punk band Adrenaline O.D.'s "Paul's Not Home."  Take a listen to it here...

Now, the Flex-Ray special editions will only be available at SXSW.  That's sucks.  Who's up for a road-trip to Austin for x-rays?
